Along with composing, Jacob has been tutoring and teaching music theory, composition, and beginner piano for over a decade. Having worked in New York City private schools, he has much experience instructing students from elementary to high-school level, as well as college level students in need of personal tutoring. Though many students complain about the difficulties of learning music theory, Jacob specializes in making the subject easy to understand. He is capable of teaching those who have never studied theory as well as students without a background in reading sheet music. Using his own methods of teaching using contemporary music and simple physics, music theory has never been easier.
